Who we are

The VIC Ski Club is an international non-profit club based in Vienna. The club is open to staff members from all Vienna-based international organizations, members of diplomatic missions, their families and guests who are passionate about skiing.  

We pride ourselves on our family-oriented, friendly atmosphere and our attention to individual and group needs.

Our focus is on skiing and on creating memorable experiences among our members, who over time become friends and part of our VIC Ski Club family.

The VIC Ski Club is an officially-registered club at the Vienna International Centre (VIC).

What we do

Every year, we organise a number of weekend ski trips to beautiful locations in the Austrian Alps that are within 3 to 4 hours driving distance from Vienna.

Our trips include:

  • Free alpine skiing instruction on Saturdays and Sundays (each half day) 
  • Round trip transport
  • Great accommodation: half board
  • Children aged 1 to 4 years: free of charge
  • Children aged 5 to 14 years: 20% discount

Not included:

  • Ski passes (EUR 100 - 120) per person per weekend)
  • Spending-money for lunches during the day and/or drinks in the evening

COVID-19 Policy 🦠

VIC Ski Club members are required to fulfil the following mandatory measures as a prerequisite to join the trip:

  • 2G+
    • Valid Proof of vaccination or recent recovery, and
    • A negative PCR test, not older than 36 hours
  • Mandatory FFP2 masks on the bus per bus company and government guidelines, except when eating or drinking, for a maximum of 10 minutes.
  • Mandatory FFP2 masks outdoors when a minimum distance of 2 m cannot be held.
  • Club members are required to remain in their seats during the entire bus journey.
  • The bus bar will remain closed during the entire trip.
  • VIC Ski Club members are required to follow the recommendations and requirements by the Austrian government https://www.austria.info/en/service-and-facts/coronavirus-information#additional-measures-in-the-austrian-provinces

COVID-19 Refund policy

VIC Ski Club members who test positive on Thursday will be fully refunded.
